Basic rights and obligations
- Rule #1: Following the Downfall, the goal of the Teplin Project is the preservation of humanity. All decisions taken by any station must align with that goal.
- Rule #2: All stations are sovereign and can behave freely, as long as they respect The Code.
- Rule #3: All stations must report to others, by means of posting to TLWOE, any of violation of The Code, as soon as possible.
- Rule #4: All conflicts must be resolved as peacefully as possible. In any case, it is forbidden to harm another person, or destroy a station's life support systems.
Sustainability
- Rule #5: All stations must do their best at all times to preserve all non-renewable resources.
- Rule #6: All stations must share their knowledge with the other stations to help them achieve the goal of preserving their resources.
- Rule #7: Teplin stations are not designed for more than 6 persons. For this reason, stations must not have a permanent crew of more than 6 persons.
Exchanges
- Rule #8: All stations must name a communication officer responsible for radio exchanges and all diplomatic relations.
- Rule #9: No orbital match must occur without the explicit agreement of all stations involved, through their communication officers.
- Rule #10: No orbital match must occur unless listed on TLWOE.
Punishment
- Rule #11: A station is considered "active" if it has at least one passenger, and it has given a sign of life to other stations in the last 6 months. The TLWOE is the sole authority for listing stations listed as active.
- Rule #12: An active station can be punished by being declared "ostracized" if it violated The Code in some way. A station can be ostracized for a set duration, and through the agreement of at least 70% of all stations known as active.
- Rule #13: No station can match its orbit nor have any radio contact with an ostracized station.
Amendments
- Rule #14: The Code can be amended by the agreement of 70% of all stations known as active.
